His main fields of research focus on telerehabilitation, 3D evaluation of spinal deformities using the structured light system, spine surgery and research, orthopedic trauma, quantitative imaging methods, eHealth and telemedicine implementations in medicine and to promote best practices to develop, translate, validate, and utilize (PROMIS®) Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Instruments to assess the quality of the patient-centered and nationwide medical care.
He has been decorated with the Bronze Cross of Merit; Medal of the National Education Commission; Medal of Honor “Merit for Health”; Bronze Medal of Honor “Merit for Sport”; and Gold Badge “Bene Meritus” of Telemedicine and eHealth.
