Marcin Węgrzyniak

Director of Center for Healthcare Information Systems (CSIOZ)

He is graduated from the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science of the University of Warsaw (full-time, master’s degree courses) and the Warsaw School of Economics – internal audit and the public internal financial control (post-graduate studies).

In 2007 he started his career in the Ministry of Economic Development. He participated in the EU negotiations as the member of the Managing Institution of the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment. He was involved in the development of management and control system.

Since January 2010 he has been employed in the National Centre for Healthcare Information Systems. First, he was a chief specialist for the financing of projects from the EU. Then he worked as the project manager of Platform for Sharing Services and Resources of Digital Medical Records with on-line Business. As the manager of the Project Management Office he was responsible for managing coordinators of informatization projects of healthcare system. His responsibilities included the development of projects: Domain Systems Supplementary to Health Information System, Improving the Quality of Healthcare Management through the Promotion of ICT Knowledge, Central Register of Pharmacists, Direct Import Service System, InVitro Register.

Holder of the IT and project managements certifications: Prince 2 Foundation, Prince 2 Practitioner, ITIL v3 Foundation, MSP Foundation, P3O Foundation.
