Her scientific research and executed projects are related to information systems in healthcare, tele-nursing, interoperability in healthcare, integrated care including competences of nursing staff related to coordinated care especially in primary health care (PHC).

Author can co-author of many publications related to above mentioned issues, speaker at many national and international conferences. Project manager of HealthProElderly, TeleNrsCare- Telenursing, ENS4Care – WP Integrated Care – financed by Norwegian grants and EU funds.

Former President of Polish Nurses Association (2005-2012) in Poland and representative in international institutions: International Council of Nurses (ICN), the European Federation of Nurses Associations (EFN), a member of the Board of EFN and expert of the European Commission, WHO, ICN. Currently Director of EFN, a member of the Board of Directors of the European Nursing Research Foundation (ENRF) and Director of the ICN Accredited Center for Research and Development of ICNP, the Medical University of Lodz engaged in the implementation of international standards for EHR.
