He graduated from Kielce University of Technology. He started his career in 2004 at the Holy Cross Cancer Center, in the IT Department, where he was involved in the administration of medical systems. He specialized in medical image processing and archiving in the radiology department and brachytherapy treatment planning. He was also the leader of the Medical Systems Section in the IT Department. He is a medical systems designer and an implementation specialist.
He has been working at the National Centre for Healthcare Information Systems since 2013. He began his work as the architect specialist and the chief architect in the Project Management Office. He was working on the technical interoperability development, the development of the Polish National Implementation of HL7 CDA and the implementation of IHE Integration Profiles. He was working on the enterprise architecture for the Healthcare Information System. He was responsible for breaking barriers to the implementation of electronic medical records within health care units.
At present, he is the Deputy Director for IT and the chief architect and supervises the ICT Service Department and the ICT Development Department.
Holder of the IT and project managements certifications: Prince 2 Practitioner, ITIL Foundation.
He cooperates with the Polish Telemedicine Society, the Polish Affiliate Organization of HL7, the Polish Information Processing Society and the International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth.
